Apropos our news item ‘FUTA to boycott A/L paper marking’ yesterday (13), Commissioner General of Examinations Anura Edirisinghe says: "I firmly reject the statement in the last paragraph of that news item: "A senior official of the Examinations Department said on the condition of anonymity that this process was a typical JVP tactic" and I firmly declare that I or any other senior official never issued such a statement.
