Supreme Court Determination on the Universities Amendment Bill

Here is the full Judgement of the Three Bench Supreme Court in 1999 on the University Amendments Bill and the position of the Supreme Court on Resignation of Heads sent by an eminent member of the FUTA Legal Support Team, Attorney At Law Rohana Ratnayake (LL.M).

Attorney At Law Dr. Camena Gunaratne, Senior Lecturer in law at Open University was one of the petitioners of this 1999 case together with Dr. Deepika Udagama, Dr. Jayadeva Uyangoda and others. Dr. Camena is also our current Legal Support Team Secretary as we get along with our Legal Battles to the highest court in Sri Lanka.
