(Colombo Lankapuvath) President Mahinda Rajapaksa today agreed for a discussion with Federation of University Teachers’ Association (FUTA) if they request.
FUTA has put forward a salary hike of 200% which the President viewed as being unreasonable by others in the education sector.
If such a huge increase is granted many others will also make similar demands, the President noted.
