We state responsibly that no discussions have been held between the FUTA and the government during the course of this week. Furthermore FUTA has not reached any agreement with the government about any interim proposal.
We urge the FUTA membership to be cautious of efforts, by certain groups with vested interests, to undermine the FUTA initiated University Teacher's struggle, that has been growing by the day. Please be wary of possible sudden government initiated announcements to this effect.
Let us keep our resolve and unite around the FUTA initiated struggle, until we win our demands.
