Urgent: Regarding Resumption of Voluntary Duties

Dear executive committee member,

Based on legal advice, FUTA maintains the position that the best option to resume duties in

voluntary positions is to ask for fresh appointment letters for the remaining periods.

Sister unions/ Federations are expected to inform the Vice Chancellors that the trade union action is

over by handing the letter issued by FUTA , scan copy of which will be circulated among all EXCO

members tomorrow morning, and ask the Vice Chancellors to make arrangements to issue fresh

appointment letters.
