FUTA, IUSF protest marches start

The protest marches organized by university academics and undergraduates urging the government to protect the state university system and free education, started from Kandy and Galle a short while ago.

Federation of University Teachers Association (FUTA) commenced their protest march from the Galle Fort while the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) started their protest march from the Peradeniya University.

Both protest marches are due to reach Colombo by September 28. (LaknaParanamanna)
